You'll see changes in how your CE units are reported.
The National Assoc of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) and ACPE are implementing a new electronic system called CPE Monitor.
This rolls out in 2011 and 2012.
Pharmacists and techs will need to get an e-Profile ID number from NABP. The system will automatically report your completed CE to ACPE and NABP. Participating state boards will get CE reports from NABP...so you won't have to save and submit paper statements.
Some big states, such as CA and FL, WON'T participate right away...but you'll need your new ID number anyway.
Every ACPE-accredited CE provider will need to collect an e-Profile ID from each pharmacist and tech to award CE credit.
Don't worry...we've built new interfaces into our PL CE & Training Organizer to give you an easy process for all this.
Go to PL CE & Training Organizer for a link to get your new ID number from the NABP/ACPE system. Once you put your ID number into your PL CE & Training Organizer, you won't have to enter it again.
We'll AUTOMATICALLY submit your PL CE credits for you to NABP/ACPE.
You'll also continue to get paper statements of credit from us as long as you want or need them.
Your PL CE & Training Organizer will continue to be the site that tells you what CE and training courses you need to meet each of your requirements...and each due date...and your credits remaining to complete. The PL Organizer also gives you each actual course you need.
