Pulmicort Turbuhaler (budesonide) is now approved for ONCE daily dosing...in patients with mild to moderate asthma who are well-controlled on inhaled steroids.
It's the first inhaled steroid for asthma that's approved for once daily use. The others are usually given BID to QID.
Pulmicort Turbuhaler is a dry powder inhaler.
