Some HIV patients will be put on the new protease inhibitor, Aptivus...if they are resistant to other protease inhibitors.

If any of your patients are on Aptivus (tipranavir), keep in mind it has a sulfonamide moiety. Watch for sulfa allergy and skin rashes.
